My favourites memes are the "The Simpsons" related memes, even so that I'm in a Facebook group called "Simpsons Shitposting" in wich fans from all over the world gather and make and share Simpsons memes (I made the the one that you are seeing there), but the ones that I really like is the "Steamed Hams", where an iconic scene of principal Skinner inviting his boss to a lunch is edited making it double funny. The memes that I don't like are the "grasosos" memes, in this memes people use mexican slang and the emotes ":v" and "xdxdxdxd", they are sooo boring.
I think memes are popular because memes are a way to express yourself in a funny way that you can share with ypur friends and because there are memes for everyone, there are normal memes, literature memes, science memes, animals memes and even surrealist memes!
