Post N°6

In my  country , my career has accepted 5 specialities , but I am particularly
interested in forensic lab and if is possible I would like to work in a research lab
abroad.
being honest, any reason to do a post-grade course is to specialise, if you are
more prepared , you can excel in comparison to the rest that means that you can
postulate to a better job ,with better work conditions, and a better salary .
I would like to study subjects related to my career, in specific in the clinical
branch or the forensic branch.in my opinion subjects related to the forensic like
area are more interesting but I still think that subjects like "clinical
pharmacology" or  subjects like "advanced pharmaceutical sciences"
are necessary  because can help me to improve in research.
For my comfort, I prefer study in Chile ,because traveling means more expenses
.You will need a place, solvents your basic necessities, and pay your studies, but
I know that to get a higher degree in my career requires go abroad and if  is
necessary go aboard to do it , I like think that I could do it.
I'm not sure about what kind of speciality I want to achieve . Of course I like  to
think that I could get a the highest level that I can aspire in my career , but I'm
not sure about  what kind of speciality could be, or what kind of area of interest I
have.
At the present is necessary have a superior level in your camp , this is with the
objective of standing out, in this society if you don't move forward , you will stay
behind compared with the ones how have a mayor level of degree.
I know that  sometimes to make possible achieve this  degrees is necessary to
study abroad .This means that you have to  find a way to cost your studies at the
same time that you make  time to study  with the objective of  pass  and obtain
the degree which you aspire, In this cases the distance learning or the blended
system can help us to aboard this difficulties.

During my entire period as a student, including high school, I never had good teachers in the English area, because of that, I have a terrible base in the language.
With respect to what I learned at the university, I can say that I improved a bit like speaking in English, it is not very fluent, but I have improved my pronunciation a lot.
I think it's not the mission of the race to teach English, but in the same way they leave you with a medium base to face the race (reading papers)
The use of blogs I find a good formula to develop the word, and that's why it has been quite difficult to do them, because I do not handle many words, it is very difficult for me. Another problem I have is that I find it hard to translate my thoughts in writing. Concluding this, I think the blog section should follow.
I think that in any aspect of language understanding I stand out very much, but if I had to rescue one, it would be listening. And on the other hand, my great flaw is writing, as I mentioned before, the handling I have of words is very small, and for this reason I also find it difficult to talk about it.
I hope to take an English course at some point in my life, I hope I can take it on vacation so as not to obstruct my studies in my university career. And of not being able to take it in vacations, the other option is to take the course finished my studies, alternating it with my work.
Outside of the classes, it is practically null the use of English that I have, the only thing I could mention is that I see things in their original language, and most of them are English. Beyond that, I still do not use the language very much. But later if I should use it, since I'll work with papers, and most of it is written in English.

I'm not still 100% sure what I will work in the future, I have thought about research, associated with teaching, clinical pharmacy, etc. But what strikes me most is the synthesis of drugs.
The problem that exists is that I am not very good at working with people and crowds.
If I follow the path of drug synthesis, I would like to specialize in that, to give emphasis to research and to the application of these.
Unfortunately this profession is not developed here in Chile, the only option is to move to a country where it is practiced, such as Germany or Holland. Because of this, it is essential to master another language that is not native.

I hope to work in a laboratory, with a rather small team, because I am not very good at the crowds.
I would not like to stay static in a job, my idea is to be able to move from labs in labs, it is looking for new experiences that will help me to cultivate myself as a pharmacist. My ideal would be to move around the world working a period of a couple of years in each lab.
With respect to salary, I hope it is enough to live well and be able to save, without leaving aside one or another taste. Similarly, the race stands out for the good remuneration it presents.

Chemistry, as an exact science, tries to make sense of things through experimentation.

In the future, great changes are coming where technology is involved.

In the experimental area, it will no longer be necessary to experiment with animals with certain drugs, because there will be software for that, having a large database collected over the years.

In the area of ​​pharmaceutical sales, we will be displaced by machines that will serve the public.

In a more important area, such as the clinical pharmacy, technological advances are always expected to be a progress for the well-being of people.

Leaving future projections aside and focusing on the changes that should be implemented in the race, I have several improvements at different points.

Starting with the implementation of the branch of programming to the race due to what I mentioned before.

The evaluation method I hope will be more pleasant with the student, that they do not exploit us day by day with the evaluations.

One aspect, which I consider most important, is with respect to our teachers. I think we need pedagogues, specialized people to teach, because now, our teachers, although they are experts in their subject, are just that. Several do not have the ability that the student really learn something, they only explain what they know.

All the time has been like that, but I hope there is a radical change in that.

Regarding infrastructure, laboratories are expected to stop being so archaic, that new technology is implemented.

Annex to this, but related to the facilities, I expect a cafeteria of the faculty.

When I was a kid, after school when I got home, I remember watching a program called "invasion" in which they played animes. That was when my interest in anime was born.

Along with the anime, I also remember that on weekend mornings, they gave children's series on national channels.

I remember a series called "Pink Panther" was broadcast very early in the morning, and I set alarm to see it.

But I will not talk about any anime this time.

My favorite series are the simpsons. This is about a "traditional" American family. The fun of the series is the mixture of usual problems with crazy events, adding to all that a touch of humor. My favorite character is Homer, who happens to be the father of a family.

Years ago, this series was broadcast on an adult schedule, due to its content, but little by little that changed.

I think I'm an occasional fan, because I'm not always watching anime or series, only when I have time and there are some that recommend me and get my attention.

Animation in general has been very important in my life, because I did not have siblings of my age, but despite having friends, I always enjoyed spending the evening watching animation of all kinds, and I still do. I consider it a good hobby.

Usually, I see all kinds of animation, sometimes I repeat series that I saw as a child, and despite the passage of time, and I enjoy them in the same way.

Most of the times I see a new series or anime I recommend it to my friends and vice versa, I consider it a usual topic in my conversations.

Today, the science is advancing by leaps and bounds, new techniques are emerging every day in all areas, which means that scientists have to learn and move forward, or will be left behind, and my career is no exception.

The Nano Pharmacy is a specific branch of pharmacy, born from the union of pharmacy with nanotechnology, this is a science that explores the nano world and the use it can have in medicine.

Some examples of this are the anesthesia that acts against sciatic pain which is  composed by nano-particles that react with a laser, being capable of  biodegrade in the body. Another example are the gold nano-particles used to release the diabetes medication in the patient.

This new type of technology can be an  alternative that act as  an analog of some treatments.

Techniques such as those mentioned above are used to treat different diseases such as diabetes or chronic pain in local areas. In my career, this is a relatively new field of research, related to new ways of introducing medication to the patient.

I chose this topic because when I discover how this can act as an alternative to treat some diseases, I thought it would be extremely beneficial.

In the future, this technology would allow to implant the medication through the muscles, releasing the medication to the specific objective.

Being honest, I learned about this today while writing this blog.But with what respect to human welfare, this would be beneficial, since an alternative analogous to some treatments, with specific control such as this technology, could help improve  health, preventing some side-effects ,this because the increase in specificity that would mean a decrease in the applied dose.

As I said that this technology would be an alternative to some treatments, it is less invasive and could help control the distribution an release of the medication in to the human body.

When I was a child, in my fifth birthday, I get a pet like a gift from my brother. I remember when I looked the first time, I didn't sure what it was. It had three legs, an unusual tail, and its fur was a little strange.

I remember the first year’s whit him. we played around the house all day, it follows me whit difficulty. In the evenings, we take a nap in the courtyard until night.

Past the years, I didn't understand why it was like that. but anyway, I love it and enjoyed his company.

One day I asked to my brother what kind of animal was my pet, He said "is a dog", but I said "the dog have four legs, not three. My brother said "this is a special dog, I take it from the street, it suffers abuses of old proprietor. In that moment I understood the situation of my dog.

For many years was my company, but it was sick, and in the last years it just-only remained lying down next to the sofa when I sat.

Sadly, years ago, my dog dead because of it sick. 

I loved that dog because despite everything that had happened, he always looked happy, and always accompanied me.

Some time ago, I travel with my brother to the south of Chile. We went to a place called "Perquenco", is a little town close to Temuco. I remember the trip to the city, when we went to take the bus, there was a lot of people trying to take their respective bus, it was a hell. After 30 minutes, we finally could take it, but it had problems with the motor, because of this the bus stopped in Rancagua for four hours aprox. that was terrible.
Passes the hours, we finally arrived to our destiny close to launchtime. After that, we went to the river with some friends. I swam all the afternoon. In the night, I slept placidly.
Early in the morning, we went to another river to camp. I swam, played football and ate a lot of food. Almost all days we go to the river, because the temperature was so high.
I liked Perquenco because of its weather and landscapes, specially the forest and the rivers.
Back of the south, in Santiago, the rest of the vacations I passed it visitating my friends.
Finally, I came to the university, was very sad.

Since I was a child, I always dreamed about visiting Japan. I love their culture, history, food, etc. but I don`t have much information about this country.

When I was younger, in the evenings I used to watch Japanese animation called "anime". It's since that time that I became in love with the country. I also love videogames and Japan is the country of technology, so that's another reason to why i would like to go there.
To other hand, the landscapes of this country are very beautiful, some of the most known are the Mount Fuji  and the Tokyo tower.

In addition to this, i really would like to taste the gastronomy on offer, like the sushi and the fugu (a venomous fish), but, in this case i couldnt afford it, because it's so expensive.
Some of the things i would like to do there are visiting the district of Akihabara, where you can find many stores and arcades. Also i would like to go to the theater to see a Kabuki play.

On one hand I really would like to live there to experience the japanese culture, wich I found really interesting. But on the other hand I think that the life in there is very busy and chaotic.

Hello world! This time I will talk about travel. I love to travel, I don’t do it too much, but when I do it I really have some good times, I travel mostly on summer vacations like in three or four occasions every year. If I’m frank, maybe I dislike a little bit all the process of preparations to travel, but that discomfort does not compare to the joy that I have spending time with my family and friends. When I go to the south to my family’s house sometimes my friend Daniel go with me and we spend most of our time exploring or doing things that we are not capable to do in the city. Also, my friend Pipe invites me to his family’s house in Cobquecura, that place is amazing, it’s beautiful and still has the old village life style, and that is something my friend Pipe loves the most about his home. And at last, the travel that is a tradition, going to the house of the grandmother of my friend Peko in his car with my friends Pipe, Matias and Lientur. We prepare a CD to listen to in the car and when we get there we have very long “Monopoly” sessions. I hope I can travel this summer I’m not sure if that will be possible, but if it is, I want to travel with my family or my friends and that means to travel in Chile.

Hello world. Today’s topic is a little deeper. With only four months to the end of the year it’s a good time to make some reflections of some stuff that I have been through it. After a long year of waiting I was finally accepted in my dream’s career in my dream’s university. I couldn’t believe it; my life was moving forward to what I dreamed the most! Those times were wonderful, but nobody said it was going to be easy, the first big problem came when I didn’t receive the monetary benefits to study at the university, for some reason the system believes that my family can afford to pay a complete university career! Fortunately, I got the “Crédito con Aval del Estado” and with that the problem was a little less problematic. Right now, I’m not so happy about my grades this semester, it has been rough to keep the rhythm to the subjects. So far, I have not made any big achievements, but I look to the future with hope, this hasn’t been the happiest year for me or anything near to that, but I will make my best effort to make it a good year and if that is not possible I will continue until I have reached my dreams.

Hello world! This time is the turn of a subject that I enjoyed during the semester. That’s difficult! But if I must choose, Introduction to Calculus is the one. Usually in classes we have our professor explaining mathematical concepts in the whiteboard, defining some others and doing some exercises so we can apply what we have been learning. In this subject we learn mostly about functions and how to they behave in different contexts, and we see a lot of functions, like the quadratic function, the logarithmic function or the exponential function. At first it may not seem like a very entertaining subject to study, I mean, it’s math’s! How math’s can be enjoyable!? But when you go deeper into the concepts and other stuff you get to know some very strange facts about mathematics that are not simple to the eye, for example the limit of a function. The limit is something so strange and confusing but in an almost magical way it works fine and with that we can do things that were impossible to do, like dividing by zero! Those things make me enjoy the subject and make me wait for more of this crazy stuff in the future.

Hello world, Victor here! today i will talk about memes. I love memes, I love browsing memes on Facebook, send memes to my friends in WhatsApp and watch memes on YouTube.
My favourites memes are the "The Simpsons" related memes, even so that I'm in a Facebook group called "Simpsons Shitposting" in wich fans from all over the world gather and make and share Simpsons memes (I made the the one that you are seeing there), but the ones that I really like is the "Steamed Hams", where an iconic scene of principal Skinner inviting his boss to a lunch is edited making it double funny. The memes that I don't like are the "grasosos" memes, in this memes people use mexican slang and the emotes ":v" and "xdxdxdxd", they are sooo boring.
I think memes are popular because memes are a way to express yourself in a funny way that you can share with ypur friends and because there are memes for everyone, there are normal memes, literature memes, science memes, animals memes and even surrealist memes! Hi everybody! Today I will talk about the great Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger or Erwin Schrödinger for short. He was born in Vienna in 1887, he ingresed to the Vienna University in 1906 where he achieve the best calification possible, between 1914 and 1918 he participated in the WWI. After a long and successful career he share the Nobel prize with Paul Dirac for his contributions of the progress of quantum mechanics.

He is more known for his famous equation, the Schrödinger equation, that is one of the most important in physics and is so confusing that he and Albert Einstein had to make the “Schrödinger’s cat thought experiment” to explain it. His contributions in quantum mechanics are very important in chemistry because they help us learn more about the matter and how the atoms interact with each other on very unique ways.

I admire him because his ideas were really impressive and make us see the world on a way that is very strange and unknown but also very poetic. He truly inspires me to be a better scientist!.

This pic I took in my last vacation. I went to the south of Chile with my brother the last Summer. We went to visit to the family in Temuco City.
This picture shows a simply nature landscape. You can see beauty clouds, they are like a cotton, a Little grove in the background, make the horizon.
I took it when I was going to the river after heavy rainfall. The air was very clean and fresh.

This picture I like it for two reasons. The first is because the contrast formed between the sky and the land is harmonious, and the dark of the shadows contrast with the luminity of the shiny sky.

The second reason is most emotional. A simply  nature landscape express harmoy, and the contrast of shadows show the changes of mood during the day. The shadows represent the sandness and the shiny of the sky the happinnes. We present the two feelings, you should be very sad, but always you can find the happyness.

Hi, today I'm wonna talk about one of my favorites tv shows.

I have many favorites series, but one stands from the rest, this serie is "The Simpsons", I love it. 

This serie is about of a normal family of United States. I like it, because is a satirical representation to American life. It´s so funny.

My favorite character is the father named Homer, I really like him, because he is an alcoholic, something stupid, but he is a winner.

Before, this serie I watched it every evening in Canal 13, but they changed the schedule to weekend´s morning (when I´m sleeping), for that I see it in YouTube mostly comic piece of it.

I don´t have a specific kind of series, I like all types. For now  I don´t have any new serie that I want to see, but  I will back to see some like "Breaking Bad" or "True Detective".

Hi everyone, how have you been? I hope you're well.
This week has been a little stressful whit the evaluations.
Today I'm wonna talk about my favorite device.
As you saw in the picture, my favorite device is my mp3.
I got it in the last xmas, was a gift from my mom.
Before I had a mp4, but I was victim of a mug with a knife in the public transport, it was very terrible, I loved that device.
I used to listen to my music, always when I travel, walking and in the public transport.
I used usually almost all days.
I really like this device because is very small and useful. I can take it to everywhere.
I don't imagine how it will be my life without it, because  I need to get distracted  when I travel, besides, the music allways makes me happy when I´m sad.

When I was a child, I always had in my mind the idea of working in a lab, wearing a lab coatand handling chequimal reagents.
In my career´s option all of them were related whit the chemistry. chemistry degree, chemistry pedagogy, but finally I decided for quemistry and pharmacology.
The reason of this decision was because with this dregree I can work in a hospital,especially in a plublic center, helping people, protecting their health. Besides I wanna work in a lab synthesise active agents of drugs.
My experience in this university until the moment has been gratifying because the teacher are so competent and always listening to me when I have a concern. The only problem that I have is the location of university because is too far from my home. Every day a wake up very early in the morning, I feel like a zombie in the public transport, but is worth it.
In the future as I said before, I want to work in a lab synthesise active agents of drugs or in a hospital helping people.

Hi, in this blog I'm gonna try to introduce myself briefly.

I was born in 1997 in Santiago de Chile, I always lived here. Many people doesn't like this city, because is very noisy, but for me is great, because everything is connected. I can go to every place very fast.

 I studied in a catholic elementary , this was very boring. In the high school I went to a public school, were I learned about the community and politics facts. Currently I study chemistry and pharmacology in the University. It has been hard to me this degree, but I try to keep on, because in the future I would like to be a researcher.

About my family, I live with my parents. My father is a taxidriver, he drives for all city everyday, is expert in city locations. About my mom, she works all the week, I only see her the weekends.

I don't have much hobbies, principally I sleep in my free time. I like watch series, my favorite serie is The Simpsons, I love it. When a have a bad day, this serie makes me happy.
